Curation notes
The strain was not specified in the paper, making finding a proxy strain difficult. The genes did not match P. putida 2440. A proxy strain needs to be determined.

Experimental Process

EMSA demonstrated binding of IHF to the Pu promoter. DNase I footprinting identified the location of the IHF binding site. Site directed mutagenesis combined with EMSA confirmed the identity and specificity of this promoter sequence.

Gene Regulation

Regulated genes for each binding site are displayed below. Gene regulation diagrams show binding sites, positively-regulated genes, negatively-regulated genes, both positively and negatively regulated genes, genes with unspecified type of regulation. For each indvidual site, experimental techniques used to determine the site are also given.
