Experimental Process

Northern blot shows differential expression when the system is induced with mit-C or heat-shock. The binding site was predicted based on visual inspection due to its highly palindromic nature. EMSA with purified HdiR and fragments of different length show that the IR1 region is bound by HdiR.

Gene Regulation

Regulated genes for each binding site are displayed below. Gene regulation diagrams show binding sites, positively-regulated genes, negatively-regulated genes, both positively and negatively regulated genes, genes with unspecified type of regulation. For each indvidual site, experimental techniques used to determine the site are also given.
