Curation notes
The expression of the csp gene was shown to be regulated by PerR. However, during the submission process collecTF search did not include this region within the range of identified genes.

Experimental Process

DNase I footprinting confirmed binding. qPCR showed that PerR is a transcriptional activator of the csp gene cluster.

Gene Regulation

Regulated genes for each binding site are displayed below. Gene regulation diagrams show binding sites, positively-regulated genes, negatively-regulated genes, both positively and negatively regulated genes, genes with unspecified type of regulation. For each indvidual site, experimental techniques used to determine the site are also given.
